The main site of the Ministry http://www.deity.gov.in/ (External website that opens in a new window) is a comprehensive bilingual site (http://www.deity.gov.in (External website that opens in a new window)), both in Hindi and English. The site aims at creating better awareness of Indian Electronics and Information Technology industries, globally. The site contains information about MeitY and its organizations, investment opportunities, technology and application development, human resource development, infrastructure facilities, production and exports data, guidelines for R&D, IT Act 2000, Vigilance, MeitY publications and the links to other sites of interest in the country.

(xv) The particulars of facilities available to citizens for obtaining information, including the working hours of a library or reading room, if maintained for public use;
For information (under the RTI Act, 2005) the citizens may approach the Public Information Officer (RTI) of MeitY(Hq.) available from 10:00 hrs to 13:00 hrs on each day (except Thursday and Friday). The Office of PIO (RTI) is located on first floor of the Electronics Niketan (Room No.1016). The information pertaining to MeitY is also available on MeitY Portal(External Website that opens in a new window) in detailed. Further, the citizens may also approach the PIO (RTI) using e-Mail address pio.dit_hq AT mit.gov.in.
Two PC's and a photo copier are available in the Office of PIO(RTI) for facilitating quick information to the citizens on request, as per relevant provisions of the RTI Act.
