The Kisan Sarathi project has been jointly taken-up in February 2024 by MeitY and Indian Council of Agricultural Research with objectives  to provide multilingual support to farmers in seeking the advisories in the domains of agriculture, horticulture, fishery and animal husbandry, through a multi-lingual & multi-media ICT platform “Agriculture Advisory Management System (AAMS)”

The platform would support farmers to connect with the knowledge base & pool of subject matter experts at 730+ KVKs and 100+ ICAR institutions and Agricultural Universities in all the States and UTs.
